Your volunteering of help is actually more than welcome, Apologist. Although I'm archaeologist, I tend to use InDesign quite a bit so I'm also familiar with how to use. But if you use it professionally (rather than my using it to try and bring our "A game" to our department)) then I'm more than willing to abuse your offer.
If we ever get to that stage, of course, and the project doesn't die.
(My focus at the moment is my own stuff, but I'm also going to get the various SRs that I can find published on the forums up and running regardless of what state they are in.)
The important question is how are you at
design? I've got technical ability galore, but my actual appreciation of layout is a bit weaker, as is my ability to produce artwork for backgrounds, etc.
Let me know... PM me if you don't want to discussion on the forum.
Oh, incidentally, for matters of work I only have access to CS3 on the machines that I use. Well, I have access to CS4, but CS3 is the one that they use at work so for issues of compatability I have to use that. Cannot recall if it had a downward saving compatability or not...
Anyway, let me know so that we can continue to discuss this. CELS has some really neat articles that would be great to release "as is," and there are a number of potential applications to support the project in general.
