We've tried to keep the forum structure as simple as possible to make it easier for a New Member to begin posting their ideas as quickly as possible. The forums, and their descriptions, follow:
Introduction Forum and Getting Started
This is a place for you to introduce yourself to other members of the project. We encourage all new members to post here, letting us know a little bit about yourself, what your interests in the project are, how you would like to contribute, and so on. Remember, to read and access the forums you don't need to register, so if you take the step of registering on the forums then you really should be taking the time to start a thread here. (One thread per person, please.)
Child fora:
How do I get started? In order to make it quicker and easier for a new member to get started, we've opened up this forum, which will basically hold all of the various summaries about the status of the project, what needs to be done, and how you go about doing it. (While the Explore site is our means of representing our work to the wider 40k hobbyist community, there is a delay between the creation of articles and getting that information up on that site. More detailed information will be contained in the "Explore Website" child fora of the News and Project forum (see below).
News and Project Discussion
This forum is basically one for announcement, and if people have any issues or ideas that they want to raise about the project in general. This can be ideas about a wargame or roleplaying campaign, an idea for the narrative direction, etc.
Child fora:
Explore Website If you have any ideas, concepts, or whatever about the Explore website - our static website that presents our project to the wider 40k hobbyist community - then this is the place to make them. If you have any skills that you wish to contribute to the web-side of the project, then, well, here's the place to do it.
General Forum
All the websites need a place to hang out and just chat about whatever interests you outside of the Anargo Sector Project. At the ASP, this is the place to do it.
If you have non-project 40k ideas and concepts, then this is the place to discuss those as well.
Anargo Sector
Posts that specifically pertain to the Anargo Sector go into this forum, whether it is concepts for a world, a ship, a character, a detailed analysis of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and so forth.
Child fora:
Anargo Narrative Once we have completed the discussion and creation of the basic setting, the Anargo Narrative will contain how the setting might change because of the events of any specific story line or narrative device. This is the place where this discussion will take place.
The Imperium
The Anargo Sector Project aims to answer those types of questions that Games Workshop would not normally answer about the Warhammer 40,000 universe. For example, what is the nature of Imperial government? What about a more detailed look at the Adeptus Mechanicus, or how nobility works in the Imperium. While this is also relevant in the Anargo Sector board, if the subject has a more expansive base than just the Anargo sector, then this is the place to put it.
The Galaxy and Beyond
If a subject does not fit into either Anargo Sector or the Imperium fora, then the chances are that it should go into this forum. Here we discuss the various alien races and concepts of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. As with the other fora, if you put a thread in here that should go elsewhere? Don't worry about it. It will eventually get moved.
Artwork
As the name suggests, any artwork that is produced for the Anargo Sector Project can be placed here. This includes any modelling that you might have done for the project.
Child fora:
Fiction Also as the name suggests, any fiction set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which includes the fiction set in the Anargo sector, can be placed here.
Roleplaying Games
For general discussion of 40k roleplaying, from playing to game mastery, please place threads in this forum.
Child fora:
GURPS Rogue Trader This is for discussion of the GURPS Rogue Trader (GRT) conversion of 40k RPG to the GURPS 4e system. Come in and help out, make suggestions, etc.
Wargaming
This forum is for the discussion of wargaming within the Anargo Sector and, more generally, in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Child fora:
Warpsike This forum is for discussion of Philip Sibbering's Warspike premise. No other posts on this concept are allowed anywhere else on the site to enable Phil to keep the project organised.
