Awesome.  [ EDIT - Except that the link doesn't work at present  Undecided ]

Malika, if you please? You're our savant and pict-archivist, so be a dear and accomodate Master Kage's needs while I fly around the dusty archives looking for more finished articles  Kiss

No problem, I'll send Kage the pictures of the timeline. I assume you want them in the normal dimensions I've sent the rest of the pictures to you guys already?

What formats do you want for the weapons, vehicles and aircraft pictures?

Thanks, Malika. Kage has already found pictures for the technology articles, bless him, so what we need is something for the timeline (normal dimensions, yes) and maybe something for the two latest articles I mentioned; the worlds of the Imperium (maybe use some of our landscapes and cityscapes) and the organisations of the Imperium (whatever you think works).

Cheers Wink

I sent you and Kage the pictures for the timeline and worlds of the Imperium articles. For the organisations of the Imperium article I haven't been able to find anything that's...well satisfactory. This means I will have to start luring some artists to the ASP again or something like that!

Well, i re-wrote my stub blurb for the Periophians in the Wildspace thread - but you're probably looking for something a bit more substantial, and I'm a long way from done on the main article...speaking of which...

Well, I notice that the Inquisition article still doesn't have too many working links. If you're just twiddling your thumbs waiting for people to post more articles, I suppose you might want to consider completing the Inquisition article. If, on the other hand, you're rather busy these days, I suppose it could wait till the stage 2 release.

I'll see if I have any full SRs I haven't posted. Meanwhile, Tryphon is currently going nowhere.

Sorry, didn't see this post given the subsequent... discussion.

Oh and, erm, Kage- Why does the description for the Chamber of the Cruciformed Sword read like something out of a White Dwarf article? I mean in terms of style, not quality, so I don't mean any offence at all. I just thought we agreed not to do the whole "Some people believe that... this and that [ref: Inquisition file 3333]"-thing. It seems a bit out of place next to the rest of the website, which is written in a more factual style. Just my personal opinion though, obviously. Wink
If you want me to talk definitively about the "power behind the throne" in the Inquisition, then I'm more than willing to do so.  The tone of the official 40k universe is there because it's so easy to bullshit with it.

Again, though, if I'm... "allowed" to make the "Cruciformed Sword" into something a bit more... sanctioned, then I'm more than game for it.  Flowerly BS phrases will disappear.

Of course, the extent of their power is something that we haven't really talked a lot about, so there are things we need to straighten out.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the rest of the material online. Meanwhile, after I finish the first draft for the Dorvastor SR, I guess my next project is the SRs...

Okay... I'm going to have to get to them when I've finished converting the work website over to a fixed width page.  I can probably get to some of the smaller stuff, but at the moment I'm a bit jammed for time.  Of course, the more articles that are here waiting for me by the time that I get back to being able to put more hours into getting the webpage online (probably the end of this week) then the better.

In the process of uploading the system and have added some minor questions to the originating thread.

Also, am creating a custom file that should make URL links to our page a bit more memorable (i.e. the problem because all the directories are recursive off of the /explore/ directory).  At the moment I've used a somewhat brute force method to have a PHP redirect to certain files, but what I'm going to do is shift that down a directory.

Thus, for example, to get to the sector information at the moment, you've got to type in:

I'm going to shift this down one level with .htaccess so that we can redirect users to the appropriate file, e.g.:

Might not appeal like such a huge deal, but it's a great way of using "keywords" to add on another lay of navigation potential and make it easier for people to remember the links.  After all, which of the Anargo Subsector Graphical Interfaces was easier to remember?  anargo-sector.net/anargo/ or anargo-sector.net/explore/anargo/anargo_ui.php? Wink

Just some more thoughts/comments/approaches.  (The above "keyword" thing doesn't take a huge amount of time, unlike uploading (me) and collating (CELS) the SRs.)

SR: Invictona - The Egregius system is ready.
SR: Plaevus - As is the Feles system.

So, looking at the Anargo subsector, we have...
Anargo - Primus is ready, Secundus is not
Aquina - Requires quite a bit of reconstruction and extended system generation
Camulos Two - Ready
Delphinus - Ready
Egregius - Ready
Faustri - Requires formatting and extended system generation.
Feles - Ready
Fornax - Needs extended system generation.
Gygon - Requires formatting, but otherwise ready.
Myuki -Requires formatting, but otherwise ready.
Trivium - Requires formatting and extended system generation.

Assuming Kage deals with the Anargo systems and EarthScorpion handles Myuki and Faustri, this leaves me with Trivium, Gygon, Fornax and Aquina, unless other people offer to help out. Mind you, doing those four systems is going to take me a while, so we might end up with the SRs being the bottle neck for the Stage 1 release.  Undecided

Excellent.  And if people would like to try once again to format an article using Anargo Secundus as an example, then I would be most grateful.  You don't have to (and CELS certainly isn't allowed to), but - well, let's just face it - if you are having to reformat, say, a Word document for the forum, then you're probably going to be wrapping it in UBB tags.  There's not that much of a step beyond doing that and following the Guide and the SR guide for producing a webpage.

Just thought that I would mention it.  Again, you don't have to but if you want to try the full system SR, go for it! Cheesy

SR: Etheria (with Rei thrown in for free) - The Myuki system is ready

At least, I hope it is, this time.  All the planets are there, at the end of the thread, with descriptions and details in the same format as Anargo Primus' ones.
