Haha, the interior shot looks remarkably comfortable and luxurious for most Imperial ships.  Smiley

Well, you don't think the Imperial nobles and Adeptus Masters would sit all cramped and uncomfortable in a Valkyrie troop transport, do you? Wink

Bah, my officers always lead from the front.  They usually get hit by snipers and replaced quickly, but it is always better to die for the Emperor than live for yourself.

Except when living for Khorne and yourself.  Then its okay.

Not all Imperial citizens are called to the battlefield, you know. Those who aren't would want a ride in my comfy Osiris class shuttle.

Thank you, sir! And of course I do. But I draw space ships to relax after a long day of dating supermodels and driving yachts.

Incidentally.... is it just me, or does this shuttle look too much like a penis? (Flesh colour added for extra hilarity)

hmmm penis shuttle indeed.

The front view of your shuttle gives it a very wasp like appearance. Possibly an idea for fluff and paint jobs?

To two cockpits looks a little cramped, how about offsetting them? Put the on in front to the right, the one behind to the left?

Perhaps next to each some kind of gizo, gun or insignia?

Also the side they are on you could at a door joining into the cockpit, and a ladder?

...

Second thoughts, it looks nice and brutal and the cockpits look dainty, why not miss the cockpits off entirely, and perhaps a 'rhino' like slit?

That might be a tad gaudy.

It's something I have considered, actually. I do love asymmetrical designs, but first of all, I was inspired to do double cockpits by the Russian Mi-24 Hind helicopter, which I think might now be my favourite helicopter. I've also used the same double cockpits for all three shuttles designed for the Venturer, which gives them a certain sense of unity, as if they have a common manufacturer.
And finally... they're not cramped at all. Plenty of room. It's really a rather large vehicle.

Second thoughts, it looks nice and brutal and the cockpits look dainty, why not miss the cockpits off entirely, and perhaps a 'rhino' like slit?
It's not a bad idea - I actually did that for the Roc class cutter, a sister-vehicle of the Thunderhawk. But, see above.

Don't suppose you've got any measurements for it have you? I recently came into posession of a large cardboard box, thanks to buying a new PC, and I'm thinking of mocking up an actual model of an Osiris class shuttle from it. Eyeballing it I'd say it's roughly Thunderhawk sized, but I could be horrifically wrong.

I think it's somewhat bigger than the Thunderhawk. The Osiris is approximately 35 x 30 meters. I don't know how big the Thunderhawk is, though the information should be available online, or at least in one of the Imperial Armour books. In any case, since the 40k scale is 28 mm, it should be a fairly simple procedure of calculating how long the miniature model of a 35 meter shuttle should be.

Ok, got the 'in-world' measurements of a Thunderhawk here.

Height: 8.6m
Length: 28.8m
Wingspan: 26.65m

So the Osisris is slightly bigger than the Thunderhawk, the model of which is 19 inches long with a 17 inch wingspan. I'm assuming that when you say 35x30 35 is the wingspan?
