Following my discussion regarding the Thodan guild here: http://anargo-sector.net/community/index.php/topic,498.0.html, I want to try to represent them in Dark Heresy. I'm thinking a similar setup to the Moritat Reaper path, where you take a background package and that then gives you access to the Alternate Rank(s).

Obviously Melee Weapon (Power) will be available pretty rapidly, but how to represent the skill against tough things/stuff in heavy armour? I was thinking maybe a Talent that means the opponents TB is treated as being one lower, or possibly (as a mate of mine just suggested), halving it.

Another idea is having the penetration of the weapon apply to the targets TB as well as the armour. I like the idea, but it feels a little too Dark Heresy: The Mooking.

Any ideas?
