Unsanctioned Organisations in the Anargo Sector

In the underworld of the Anargo sector, many factions and powers exist that are not sanctioned by the Imperium, some of which are even totally unknown to Imperial authorities. Some of these are simply religious, philosophical or cultural societies, including Redemptionist cults and xeno-hunter leagues collecting trophies from across the sector. This kind of society is barely registered by the Imperium unless they are a direct nuisance or resource. There are also far more sinister factions, such as heretical cults, criminal organisations, xenophile intellectual societies and witch-assassin guilds. There are many threats in the depths of wildspace, pirates, renegades and chaos worshippers, but far more insidious are the unsanctioned organisations that pose a threat from within.
Chaos Cults
The corrupt, hidden hear tof the Imperium lies with the acolytes and servants of the Ruinous Powers of Chaos. Dedicating their lives and their very souls to the warped powers that lie in the Realms of Chaos, serving to bring forth a twisted universe where warp and matterium are blended together. The Convention
Even at the very heart of the Imperium, conspiracy echoes with a sympathetic beat. The Convention is a secret cabal within the Adeptus Terra that relies upon esoteric techniques and ancient technoheresy to serve Mankind and shape the Imperiumf or the better of all. The Anargo Sector
Not all "threats" to the Imperium of Man come from the three pillars of damnation, or heretic, witch, and xenos. Soem are entirely mundane, based upon greed, a lust for power, or any of a myriad other less human emotions and concepts.
